The vertical cabinet can be painted in the colour you need, depending on your needs. The choice that is usually made is the company’s RAL colour, thus having the equipment in the same colour.
The vertical cabinet is designed for dies of all types and sizes. It is ideal for keeping large cutting dies tidy in the production department or storing them in bulk in the storage department. The dies are removed from the wall and placed in the drawers, optimising space in the company.
Why paint the vertical cabinet?
The standard ABC vertical cabinet is supplied in galvanised steel but can be painted in the chosen RAL colour on request.
The rack is produced entirely in-house: from the sheet metal to the finished product that can be shipped to the customer.
The individual parts that make up the product are sent to the painting service. Once returned from the service, the parts are assembled, and the article is ready to be shipped and placed in the department.
The equipment in the workshop can be painted the same colour having a homogeneous image, or it can be differentiated according to the department having a different colour for each one.
How to choose the colour of the vertical cabinet?
If you use a RAL colour for your equipment, please let us know and we will make the cabinet in this colour.
If, on the other hand, you prefer a different colour, consult the RAL colour palettes and choose the most suitable for your needs or requirements.
How is the painting done on the vertical cabinet?
The painting of the cabinet is powder-coated. The individual parts are coated with a mixture of powder and air and then placed in a dedicated oven, which fixes the colour and forms an outer protective layer thanks to the electrostatic effect.
The cabinet is painted only on the outside. The interior panels, on which the dies are hung, remain galvanised to ensure that the hooks fit easily into the holes and that the painting is not damaged by the blades of the dies.
The painting is anti-corrosive, and the article is protected against scratches, cracks and discolouration.
Paint finishes can be varied, but the ones we recommend for our equipment are textured and grinz, which further increase its strength and durability.
The painting service is not in-house but entrusted to a trusted external collaborator.
