ABC's new solutions for the Simac Tanning Tech 2026
The new solutions we are presenting this year at our Simac stand were developed in response to specific requests from our customers.
Perseo Light: a compact storage system designed for the workshop
Presented for the first time at Simac Tanning Tech, the automatic warehouse Perseo Light is compact, taking up the space of just one shelving unit while offering significant additional benefits. Its ideal location is in the workshop.
A storage unit can be installed in each department, with the different units connected to one another, allowing you to keep stock levels for every item constantly under control.
Inside, the system features trays that can be customized to store: thread cones and spools, bottles of edge dyes and small components.
The advantages of Perseo Light are:
- items protected from light and dust;
- reduction search times;
- exact stock control.
Foldable leather horse: less space, lower logistics costs
One of the main new products on display will be the new foldable leather horse, developed for companies that work with subcontractors.
The leather horse is shipped fully assembled, with the leather hides placed on top and ready for processing. Compared with a pallet, where the hides are transported flat, the rack requires less space.
Once the hides have been processed, the leather horse can be returned to the company folded, taking up very little space and optimizing transport.
The benefits of this solution are:
- optimized use of space inside trucks;
- reduced logistics costs;
- easier management of transport between the company and subcontractors;
- keeping leather hides organized throughout every stage of handling.
Vertical Cabinet with Stop&Go: greater Safety and organization
Another innovation presented by ABC at the Simac is the vertical cabinet equipped with the Stop&Go system.
This system allows only one drawer to be opened at a time, reducing the risk of the cabinet tipping over and improving operator safety during die retrieval and storage operations.
The main benefits are:
- greater safety for the operators thanks to the Stop&Go system;
- no need to secure the drawer unit to the wall or floor;
- a sturdy structure suitable for intensive use in the department.
Horizontal cabinet with wheels: easy handling in the department
The latest innovation from ABC presented at Simac is the horizontal cabinet with wheels. Instead of fixed feet, the cabinet is equipped with heavy-duty wheels that make it easy to move from one department to another.
The available models feature 18 drawers with slides, each with a load capacity of 20 kg. They are available in widths of 64, 90 and 115 cm, making them suitable for storing different types of dies and accessories.
This model also features the Stop&Go system, which allows only one drawer to be opened at a time, further improving operator safety.
Its key features are:
- easy to handle on wheels on a flat surface;
- keeps cutting dies and components tidy and in their proper place;
- increased safety with the Stop&Go system.
