In the cutting department, the speed of access to the cutting dies directly affects productivity. This is why we have developed the horizontal cabinet with castors, an innovative solution that combines organization, safety and maximum operational flexibility.
Designed to hold dies and other components used in production, the wheeled cabinet can be easily moved according to production needs or changes in the layout of the department.
Made of steel, the structure guarantees solidity, reliability and resistance over time. The white painted top can be used as a comfortable worktop, optimizing daily operations. The drawers are equipped with high-sliding guides and the Stop&Go safety system and allow you to organise dies and components in an orderly and safe way, ensuring quick and immediate access to each inserted element.
The horizontal cabinet with wheels is designed to be used directly in the department, ensuring maximum safety during daily activities.
The Stop&Go system allows only one drawer to be opened at a time, eliminating the risk of the cabinet tipping over even when the drawers are fully loaded. This allows the operator to pick up the dies safely without the need to anchor the cabinet to the wall or floor.
Handling is simple thanks to the kit of swivel castors, two of which are equipped with brakes, which ensure the stability of the furniture. Once positioned, the cabinet remains firmly fixed and in place. To ensure maximum safety, handling must be carried out exclusively on flat surfaces.
With a height of 35 mm, the drawers are designed to store dies neatly and safely. Each die or component is housed in its own space, without overlapping, to prevent deformation and damage. All elements always remain clearly visible and easily identifiable, speeding up search and collection operations.
This equipment is included in all those companies that carry out die-cutting to manufacture their products such as, for example, leather goods for bags and belts, small leather goods for wallets or watch straps, footwear and saddlery, automotive and horse riding and in textiles for men’s formal suits.
There are mainly two ideal positions for the cabinet: the cutting department and the storage department.
In the cutting department, the cabinet is positioned next to the press machine, so that the operator immediately finds the series of dies useful for processing in the drawers.
In the storage department, on the other hand, in larger companies, an operator prepares the dies necessary for the cutters’ work shift, arranges them on a trolley and transports them directly to the individual workstations.
The horizontal cabinet with castors is made of galvanized steel while the top shelf is made of resistant white painted steel.
There are 3 models with wheels available. The available lengths are 70, 90 and 115 cm, the height is 100 cm including castors and the depth is 57 cm (see technical data).
The models have 18 x 35 mm drawers equipped with slides and a load capacity of 20 kg each. The slides ensure a smooth and fluid opening even when fully loaded.
The drawer units are supplied already assembled on pallet, ready to be placed in the department.
